Lofoten Cottages is located in idyllic Nusfjord close to the resort Nusfjord Arctic Resort. Lofoten Cottages consists of 28 fisherman’s cabins with self-catering in different sizes and standards.
The earliest settlements in Nusfjord date from 425 BC. Nusfjord’s unique cultural heritage makes this town one of Norway’s oldest and best-preserved fishing villages, with a long and lasting tradition of seasonal cod fishing. In Nusfjord’s «golden age,» more than a thousand inhabitants lived in the city center, but today only nineteen people can call Nusfjord their permanent home.
